I also grew up playing the classic old Subbuteo - I had the whole thing, grandstand, floodlights, the world...after I moved to California it seems that Subbuteo had died but now it is BACK. I was back in Scotland a couple weeks ago and was able to but the pitch, teams, fence etc and just finished spray gluing the pitch to some MDF. Mytwo boys LOVE it and want to play it every night - and it makes me SO happy to bring them up playing this incredibly fun game, and not have them sitting playing a video version!!!! WELCOME BACK SUBBUTEO!!!!!!!

I grew up playing subbuteo and now I have the version where the players are cardboard and
not the plastic players. I live in the states now and I want my kids to play subbuteo. I have had hours of fun playing this when I was a kid. I use to have a league with my mates!! I hope it catches on stateside, now that football (soccer) is becoming a popular sport over here.
